Lớp Phật Pháp căn bản từ xa dành cho những người muốn tìm hiểu về đạo Phật, giảng bằng tiếng Việt và Anh. Lớp gồm 48 tuần, gồm các vấn đề trọng yếu trong Phật học như sau:
The Basic Dhamma Class for those interested in the Buddhism shall be delivered in English and Vietnamese. Classes will be scheduled for 48 weeks inclusive of main issues of Budda’s teachings as following:
1. Bối cảnh Lịch sử :
· Đức Phật,
· du nhập phương Nam (Tích Lan),
· phương Bắc (Trung Hoa, Tây Tạng...);
· Kết tập Kinh điển;
· 10 tông phái lớn.
1. Historical background:
· the Buddha,
· Buddhist spread to the South (Sri Lanka),
· the North (China, Tibet...);
· the Tripitaka;
· the 10 main schools of Buddhism;
2. Những nguyên lý căn bản:
· Tứ Diệu Đế, Bát chánh Đạo,
· 12 nhân duyên,
· nhân-quả,
· tam tánh,
· ngũ uẩn.
2. Basic Principles :
· the Four Noble Truths;
· the Eightfold Path;
· 12 Links of Inter-Dependent Origination;
· The law of Cause-and-Effect;
· The Three Universal Characteristics: Impermanence, Sufferings, No-Self,;
· the Five Aggreates.
3. Định luật về Nghiệp,
· Sanh-tử Luân-hồi,

· tam học (Giới, Định, Huệ);

· Cycle of Life-and-Death (Reincarnation);

· Philosophy of Consciousness-Only;
· Everything is created by the Mind;
· Applied Psycho-therapy & Psychology.
7. Thiền thực hành :
· thiền chỉ,

· Đại sư Trí Khải, nhà luận sư vĩ đại của Phật giáo Trung hoa;
· Thiền tông : các pháp tu của Lâm Tế, Tào Động,...
· Phong trào Thiền tập tại Tây phương hiện đại.
7. Meditation in Practice :
· Vipassana (Quán),
· Samatha (Chỉ). Chih-i : the Greatest Philosopher of Chinese Buddhism;
· Ch'an school : different methods of practices by Lin-chi (Rinzai), Ts'ao-T'ung (Soto), sects, etc.

· modern perspectives of the Buddha's Teachings.
The lectures shall be conducted in according to the guideline and requisites of the Australian Education Standard. The students who attend all lectures, complete all requirements including progressive tests and essays, and pass all examinations shall be awarded a correspondent certificate. This certificate is accredited by the relevant Australian Educational Institutes. The examination shall be supervised by a diplomatic post in Vietnam or relevant countries. For those who attend all lectures without taking the final examination shall be awarded a certificate of attendance.
The next year course: the first Monday Feb 2018 to the last Friday November 2018.
Enrolment: November to December 2017.
VISA: Assistance for visa for entry to Australia for Sangha students who wish to complete the course in Australia is available.
Accommodation: Accommodation assistance for ordained Sangha members is also available.
Financial Assistance: Scholarship and teaching positions available upon competitive grounds.
